Walking back from Boxhill skatepark yesterday, enjoying another tremendously epic Melbourne sunset, I walked past a little pink ribbon. Feeling that it was a sign from the great unknown about appreciating the little things, I picked it up and tied it to my phone....BEAUTIFUL!
Got me thinking, what else have I been getting into lately?
First off, I love the subtle slang of Australia..."How you goin'?" and the fact they add "as" to make something better..."Sweet as!" "Cool as!"
Then there's this sick as instrumental/sample based group called "Lemon Jelly" with some beautiful, just beautiful tracks.
To top it off, the trailer for Where the Wild Things Are came out today. Directed by Spike Jonze, with acoustic Arcade Fire, this is gonna be fucking awesome. Check it out!
Checking out some design sites, came across some rad stuff

I'm going to try to update more now with little snips, quips, frontflips and tre flips now that I've taken the bold leap of removing myself from the all seeing eye of Facebook
Exams are over, the record breaking heat wave has passed, semester break is finally here! I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon for a road trip to Adelaide with some folks I met on Melbourne's version of craigslist, gumtree.
It'll take about ten days and we'll be going through some of Victoria and Southern Australias most killer and awe inspiring sights ....
Great Ocean Road...
Grampians National Park
Expect plenty of photos in a couple weeks! WOOHOO!
2 weeks at home with 1 week of snow is NOT enough, I'm coming back again in the beginning of June for barbecues, swimming and more fun. I'll be posting up videos that I took while home next update.
I'm really hyped on this right here, I would like to introduce to you guys my room mate... Apollo Creed my little praying mantis buddy. Right now he's pretty tiny and chills in his peanut butter jar pad complete with sticks, dirt, a rock and a jacuzzi. He relies on a tasty diet of tiny ants and moths that bumble into my room, knocking into my light. GET EM!
